Shipping policy

Halo Screen is a large, heavy, made-to-order stone object. Delivery requires specialist handling because of its size, weight, and natural stone construction.

Standard delivery areas

Standard delivery coordination to accessible residential or commercial addresses in the United States, Canada, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and European Union is included in the listed price, unless otherwise stated in the final quotation or invoice.

For destinations outside these areas, please contact us before ordering or confirming production.

Delivery process

Halo Screen delivery may involve several stages, depending on the destination, selected stone, production route, and access requirements:

  1. production and packing of the natural stone panel
  2. production and packing of the metal base / lighting component
  3. international freight and customs clearance
  4. delivery to a commercial receiving warehouse or specialist handler
  5. inspection, short storage, and delivery coordination
  6. final-mile delivery, placement, and light assembly by a specialist partner where available

For retail customers, we aim to arrange a clean customer-facing delivery experience. Supplier invoices, customs documents, and non-essential supplier paperwork are used for freight, customs, and accounting purposes only and are not intended as customer-facing delivery paperwork.

The final customer may receive Marmetica delivery paperwork, condition receipt, care notes, and any documents required for delivery or local compliance.

Access information

After order confirmation, we may ask you to provide:

  • full delivery address
  • floor level
  • elevator availability and size
  • doorway and hallway clearance
  • stairs, steps, or thresholds
  • parking or loading access
  • building restrictions
  • preferred delivery timing
  • contact details for the receiving person, designer, project manager, or installer

Accurate access information is required before final delivery or placement can be confirmed.

Specialist handling

Delivery may be arranged with freight partners, customs brokers, receiving warehouses, stone handlers, art handlers, furniture handlers, or white-glove teams depending on the destination and access requirements.

The stone slab and metal base should not be unpacked, lifted, moved, or assembled by untrained persons.

Placement and light assembly are scheduled by appointment where available. Final positioning must take into account floor levelness, clearance, stability, nearby power access, and safe handling space.

Unpacking, lifting, moving, or assembling the product without suitable professional assistance is at the customer’s own risk.

Storage and customer availability

Because each Halo Screen is produced and delivered through freight, customs, receiving, and specialist final-mile partners, delivery is planned in stages.

Before final delivery, Marmetica or its logistics partner will contact the customer to arrange a suitable delivery and placement appointment. The customer must ensure that the delivery address is accessible and that either the customer or an authorised representative is available to receive the item.

If the customer is unavailable, travelling, delays access, requests a later delivery date, or cannot receive the item when it is ready for final delivery, the item may be held at a receiving warehouse or specialist storage facility where available.

Short storage may be included at Marmetica’s discretion. Additional storage, handling, insurance, re-delivery, failed delivery, waiting time, warehouse, or rescheduling fees may be charged to the customer.

Marmetica is not responsible for delays, additional charges, or delivery complications caused by customer unavailability, incomplete access information, building restrictions, delayed approvals, or requested postponement of delivery.

Additional charges

Additional costs may apply for:

  • remote locations
  • islands or difficult transport routes
  • stairs or no suitable elevator
  • restricted building access
  • narrow entrances, corridors, or doorways
  • cranes, hoists, or special lifting equipment
  • receiving warehouse services
  • short storage
  • inspection or photography at receiving
  • final-mile delivery
  • unpacking, placement, or assembly
  • storage beyond the agreed period
  • failed delivery attempts caused by incomplete or inaccurate access information
  • building-specific insurance, certificates, or documentation
  • delivery outside the United States, Canada, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, or European Union
  • complex placement or installation requirements

Any known additional delivery or access cost will be quoted and confirmed before production or final invoicing where possible.

Taxes, duties, and customs

Taxes, duties, import charges, customs clearance costs, local fees, and destination charges may vary depending on the destination, product configuration, country of origin, delivery structure, and applicable law.

Where possible, these costs are estimated before final invoicing. If duties, taxes, import charges, or local charges are not included in the invoice, they may be payable by the customer or receiving party before or after delivery.

Inspection on arrival

Natural stone is fragile and heavy. Crates should be inspected on arrival where possible. Any visible damage to packaging should be photographed before opening and reported immediately.

If specialist receiving or inspection is arranged, the receiving team may inspect the crate and coordinate the next step before final placement.

Please keep all packaging materials until the product condition has been reviewed.

Damage and insurance

Where available, freight and delivery insurance may be arranged for specific stages of transport and handling. Insurance coverage, insured value, exclusions, and claim requirements may vary depending on the freight company, warehouse, final-mile partner, destination, and product configuration.

If damage is visible on arrival, it must be photographed and reported as soon as possible. Damage reported after the product has been moved, unpacked, installed, modified, or handled by third parties may be more difficult or impossible to support.

Trade clients and own installers

For trade clients, designers, galleries, hotels, or customers with their own receiver or installer, delivery may be arranged as crated freight to a commercial receiving address. In that case, final unpacking, handling, placement, assembly, and local insurance may be the responsibility of the receiving party unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Lead time

Typical lead time is approximately 6–10 weeks from slab approval, depending on stone availability, fabrication, freight, customs, destination, receiving, and access requirements.

The final timeline is confirmed after the stone slab, destination, and delivery conditions are reviewed.

Important note

Each order is made to order. Delivery and placement requirements may differ from project to project. Marmetica reserves the right to adjust the delivery method, handling process, base details, packaging, or logistics route where needed for safety, stability, compliance, transport, or practical installation requirements, while preserving the overall design intent.
